Topic tags/keywords: bandsaw

I have a Ironsmith bandsaw that I inherited from my grandfather. I’m sure it’s not the most high quality machine out there, it’s really pretty small. The top tire split & came off a while back & i’m trying to find a new one for it. The top wheel is 7 3/4” x 1/2”. I’ve searched online everywhere and can’t find anything. Any ideas where to look? Can I make one?

Thanks

Jarod

I would try and look for an industrial supply company, one that deals with belts, pullies, hoses etc. I ran into the same situation some time ago with another piece of machinery and they were able to make the belt.
