Just spent quite a few hours over the past four days searching for blank sticks to created walking sticks from. Had a bit of good luck and managed to harvest 220 sticks. I plan to harvest another 780, to make an even 1,000 sticks in storage drying.

Mine come from the lumber yard.

This bottom one supports itself on iron surfaces, because of the 90+ pound pull rare earth magnet on the bottom. It’s my poor man’s metal detector. ;)
