As Many of you know I’ve been a fan of Charles Neil for a long time, besides being a top notch furniture master woodworker and expert on finishing who has made hundreds of videos and and authored books on his great wealth of knowledge . He is also one of the most kind and generous person’s I know .
Charles has had a subscription on line school for 4 years or so,building great projects step by step for all levels of woodworkers. This “Mastering Woodworking Class”has been a great success so as a thank you he has now posted the first of the mastering woodworking show on “You Tube” this was no easy task it took months of reformating to be able to do that.

Take a look at this(corner cabinet) series of videos who normally you would have had to subscribe to get and see the fine projects your able to make with Charles help. His camera work has been up dated since this group of videos but it’s still great info.
If you like what you have seen subscribe for access to many other projects he’s built and the new one’s too. I’m very pleased to be a subscriber of Charle’s “Mastering Woodworking” on line class

I’ve been a fan for a long time and a subscriber since episode 1. Great teacher, and heck, he’s from the south so he’s got to be ok! Don’t ask me how I know :)

Jim, I’ve been interested but never pulled the trigger. I tried to find a listing of past or future episodes. Have you seen one?

Holy moly – that’s a 34-part episode!
Also a big fan of CN. Wished I lived near his place I’d take a class immediately.

So if you sign up you can access videos to all those projects in that list?

Travis
Actually in the beginning of the Corner shelf video (link above) the scrolling info says you get access to over 200 webisodes, I’m assuming that’s all of the separate videos for all of the projects listed above. Take note that one of the projects listed above may have 5- 10 installments or even more.

Thanks, Charles. I do think it would be helpful to list past and future projects for prospective members so we can see what we’re getting into.

Charles, if you just post a description similar to what you have for the finishing class, that would be helpful. After reading that one, I feel like I have a good idea of what to expect.

Charles the list Jim has above is complete, right now we are building 2 sofa tables , 1 is a small Queen Anne , out of Birdseye maple , the other is a simpler one out of flame birch .

Up coming is a kitchen remodel, some arts and craft /green and green projects, as well as some free form stuff. From there I’m not sure ..We have suggestions from the members, but haven decided exactly.

While the shows are project specific, they are selected more on the basis of what is the educational value of them. The show is about education, and things we have learned over 40 some years of doing it for a living and still do.
We also share projects that have been good sellers and stood the test of time in the same reguard.

The corner cabinet series will give you a sense of the depth we go into , although it was quite indepth , especially the the way we lay things out without a plan. We have as of today posted 245 webisodes, averaging 45 min to 1 hour , we began it in the fall of 2010. A large majority of our folks have been with use since day 1. In addition we have our own forum , we also have a fair number of professional woodworkers .

A new video goes up every Thursday , but is available 24/7

You Tube is restrictive on time , so the videos have to be shorter than in the actual show and the video quality back then was not as good, Today its all HD .

Thanks again, Charles. I had asked Jim for a list of episodes bc I found the web description a bit sparse. My last comment was to the effect that I found the finishing online description much more helpful. I appreciate your work and will, probably subscribe.
