Topic tags/keywords: box

How cool would this be? Pop-up lid and a couple tiny drawers. And maybe some painted rust and graffiti.

A small version of this would be better than my crap box. My wife always says there is no organization on my dresser, so maybe I should surprise her and build one.

Dave: Exactly my point. I’m going to make a few for the gallery where I’m selling my work. There are always pairs of women in there shopping for the perfect “hint” gift for their husband/boyfriend.

I found the plans. :)

Skids on the bottom would be easier to pull off than casters. So now I’m thinking 4-yard with one drawer.

Revolutionary idea John. It will reinforce mens reputation as being messy, but I like the idea a lot and I think it’s appropriate too (at least for those less fastidious than myself of course).

Kind of a “trashy” idea …. but that’s the beauty of it!
You could categorize this by “thinking in the box”!

EXACTLY what Mike said (other than the part about himself). :)

Personally, I’ve found that fun is an easier sell than “art”.

Thanks, Candy … I guess.

I’m going to have business cards made with “Underemployed Philosopher” as my title.

I may borrow-steal- this idea, but to fit into our area,it will have to be Blue instead of green, not that I am
not neat, but I might have to make two, one for my chest of drawers and one for my desk. I know I have
a surface underneath all that stuff.

Wouldn’t a gang box be more fitting then a trash dumpster? I’d feel much better knowing I had a valet box in the shape of a construction tool box then a trash dumpster. To top it off making it even more of a manly man’s valet box go ahead and add the Knaack logo to the front of it.

Randy: But the whole point is that it’s something to dump your junk in. I’m thinking a Rumpke logo with a Do-Not-Block sign.

Let me know how your gang box valet turns out. :)
