Im offering up a couple of handsaws with a few more to come. If youd like to talk pricing and specifics PM’s are preferred. If youd like additional pictures or descriptions ill be more than happy to post them here for all to see. Ive refurbished the plates and handles as well as reshaped and sharpened the teeth on both of these saws.
Disston D8 Thumbhole: This is a 28”, 6 ppi rip saw filed with 7 degrees of rake and 0 degrees of fleam. The etch is legible and has been blued to bring it out a little bit better. No chips to the apple wood handle. There is 2 small spots of rust on the back side that youll see in the pictures.
The second saw for sale is a 22” Atkins No. 54 panel saw. Its 7ppi, filed rip with 6 degrees of rake and 0 degrees fleam with a beech handle. There is no visible etch. The saw has an extremely light bend to the plate that will not effect the performance.
