Topic tags/keywords: sear bandsaw bladea

After reading 3 reviews on here about the Sear Craftsman 14 inch band saw I think I am gunna get one.

Problem… I am having a hard time finding quality “99.75 inch” blades, specially resaw blades such as the Laguna Resaw KING blade…

Also anyone having this tool give me your opinions and thoughts

You can buy made to length blades from many places, timberwolf, Olson, etc.

I assume you’re talking about the Model # BAS350. For the price I don’t think it can be beat. It’s not a $1000 bandsaw but it does all I need. I’ve been very pleased with it. The only mod I did to the saw was modifying the blade tension knob because I found it somewhat hard/slow to turn. Here’s a picture of my modified handle. Also this saw is made by Rikon so the Rikon 13-900 fence fits and so does the Rikon 10-321 mobile base..

Few sources online do custom weld band saw blades to any length.

I heard about a company called woodcraftbands.com. I guess they custom make all the blades. I was told to call them because they dont do email very well. Its two older guys who make them.
