Call to all bandsaws experts….

Kaleb brought my attention to this bandsaw:
http://lumberjocks.com/reviews/4021

I had previous planned to buy a W1706 fro Show Fox or a similar Grizzly.

HD will price match Woodcraft at 699$ and I will save another 10% with gift cards.

Is there a better equipped bandsaw at similar price +- 30$ ??

It offers roughly the specs of the Rikon 10-325, for 300-500$ less.

Thanks for your feedback.

If you are willing to look on craigslist, you can probably find a much better saw for your buck.

This with a riser block. It’s cheaper.

Well… I will save 10% from the Woodraft Price… + the SC is 1 1/2 HP vs 1 for the Griz.
Notwithstanding the price, it seems to me that the SC is a better product – That’s what I am trying to figure out.
Thanks for your input.
I am not a bandsaw expert, so trying to figure out if I am missing something….
