Topic tags/keywords: finishing refurbishing sanding

Looking for some opinions from the community. I found these wonderful old chairs that had been partially striped, and kinda like the unfinished look. After curiosity got the better of me, I had to sand one down and see how they looked. Now I am wondering what you guys think looks better, and what you would recommend for a finish if I do sand them?

Also, does anyone know what wood this is off the top of their head?

Paint. That’s paint grade work.

You might try milk paint. It’s traditional and
interesting stuff.

Have your say...
