If it runs, I would say go for it. Try offering $200 but be prepared to go up.

I paid $200 for mine and did not have to do anything to it. Works great. Sounds like a great deal if the ad is truthful.

I think that’s fair. If he comes back and says no, you can walk away. Good chance he might reconsider. It’s not the deal of the century, so if he doesn’t, oh well.

I just recently bought that exact model from CL in my area. I paid $150, but mine was in far worse shape than that in terms of rust. I’m currently refurbing is now. I’d also ask to open the front or back panel to take a look at the motor.
