I just picked up a Bosch 1617evs router from Lowes yesterday. I saw some references today online for the 1617evspk but can’t seem to find what the difference is. Mine did come with the fixed and plunge base, 1/4 and 1/2 collets, and a plastic carry case.

Basically I am wondering if there is an advantage with the evspk model and if I should return the evs (unused).

Thanks

It looks like you actually have the “evspk” because the “evs” does not come with the plunge base.

Interesting – I will need to check the model number when I get home from work as I am postive it just shows evs on the motor part of the router. Thanks for your feedback.

Can’t go by the ID on the router. It would be the same in both packages. The “pk” is what the entire package is, not just the router.
