Hey guys,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, it does relate to my workshop .... if not Mods feel free to relocate.

I have built a wall hung tool cabinet (well it’s almost finished hehe) and i have noticed the door (the 2nd door isn’t in yet) has started to sag. I did use 3 hinges where perhaps a piano hinge may have been better if the door is too heavy ?

Any advice much appreciated.

I don’t think that is caused by the hinges. It looks like either door or cabinet not square or loose joints in the door.
Pictures of the hinge line would help a bunch.

The door was slightly out of square so i planed a couple of mil of the bottom of the door to bring in into square (at least from the bottom). The sagging in the 2nd photo was taken a couple of weeks later.

I might swap out the hinges for better quality ones. The ones i used were from the local markets ….
Will see if that fixes things.
