I just replaced the cutter head on my Jet JJP-12 jointer/planer (excellent choice!) my question to you guys that have also done this is. What do you guys do with the old cutter head?

Some guys have been able to sell theirs to others who wanted it to re machine into a useable head for an older machine they are restoring (like replacing a square head on an old jointer). But those oppurtunities are very limited, and it takes a fair amount of luck to fall into such a deal. For me, I threw the planer head into a metal recycling bin. I use the jointer head with my hydraulic press to bend metal into curves. I did keep the gibs/screws/blades and I gave those away to other woodworker’s, but they could be sold.

Well my space is limited in my shop so I need to get rid of it. Someone make me an offer for the Jet JJP-12 cutterhead and 2 sets of planer knives
