I’m cleaning up the shop getting ready for the Winter and decided to sell a few hand tools I no longer use. I thought I would see if any of my fellow LumberJocks wanted them at a discount before I post them on eBay. I’m only shipping to the United States using USPS. If you want one of them, just shoot me a PM and I’ll send you my Paypal infomation. Thanks for looking.
First up is a Stanley #5C Type 11 from around 1918. It works perfectly and the sole if flat. The sole has the channeling in it. It comes with the original blade, a Veritas chip breaker, and two Veritas blades with cases. One blade is A2 and is slightly cambered. The other is O1 and still has the factory grind on it. Selling for $100 + $15 shipping. SOLD
Also selling a Lie-Nielsen scrub plane. Works great. Almost all of the blade is there. Very lightly used.
Next is a Gramercy dovetail saw. I bought this new and only made a few test cuts with it. Beautiful walnut handle. It has a couple tiny scratches on the spine (came that way from Gramercy). Was $190 new, selling for $150 + $15 shipping. SOLD
Last are two tapered blades for antique wooden planes. Both are cast steel and 2 1/4 wide. One says Hearnshaw Bros. Sheffield. The other says The Chapin Stevens Co., Conn, USA. Both have their chip breakers (known as double irons back in the day). Selling both together for $40 + $12 shipping. SOLD
