table top question.

Afternoon all. I’m getting ready to mount the top to the frame of the table I’m making. I’m using table extensions as I want to add several leaves, but I’m kinda bumfuzzeled as to what I should do next.
I have found where i want the extensions on the under side of the top.

I have found center by center on the frame.

I would think. 1) I should screw the extensions to the top. 2) Remove the screws and secure the extensions to the frame. 3) Screw the top to the extensions on the frame using the pre-drilled holes from step 1. Does that sound about right or did I miss some thing. I have made provision for the skirt and the figure 8 washers. Thanks.
