Hello everyone I’m new here and still trying to get comfortable with the workings of thesite. I have seen some fantastic work ! hope I can find a place to fit in. After using power tools most of my life here in my old age I finally heard the popping sound. And have been working unplugged lately got my first 45 combination plane and realized I know nothing about it . Is there a manual, book, dvd, to help get me on track with it? all help would be greatly appreciated

Hi lussier56,

Welcome to LumberJocks! I’ve got a blog (that I need to get up to date) here:

As well as a forum topic with some general #45/combination plane information (including some links to manuals, type studies, etc) here:

I’ve also been [slowly] making some how-to type videos on using it for its different purposes:

Hope you can find some useful information somewhere in one o those :-)
