Does anybody have a recommendation for a good digital bevel t-square? I am trying to use the one by General Tools and I have to say I’m disappointed. Most importantly it does not seem like it can accurately zero. You are supposed to close the square to zero, but there is no firm stop to zero against. You can go too far and not far enough based on how far along the slide you have the pivot located. I’ll try to show with a picture. Maybe I’m supposed to zero it on a flat surface? More importantly, are there good ones out there? I’m trying to cut hexagons and accuracy is paramount.

Not far enough:

Too far:

Starrett and Bosch make them. I have a Bosch. It’s
rather large. Of course one can take or transfer
an angle reading with a standard bevel gauge
set or measured using the digital gauge.

Have your say...
