Hi guys,
I am setting up a new, small (tiny) home shop (12×12).
I have learned a lot on this site in the past year.
I will soon buy my Delta 36-725 saw and build a router table.
Shop is in my basement, wife is freaking out…. My workspace is next to the home theatre…

I already have a CT-26 I bought for use with my Festool ROS.
My plan is to use rigid 2-1/2 pipe and built my network with splitters and gates, etc.
I would like put the CT-26 in the furnace room next door to avoid to have the noise in my shop and save some space.
I think at max I will need 16’ to reach the end of the network.

Is the CT-26 powerful enough? The DC I found in the $300-600 range filter 30 microns max!!
I know I could add a cyclone, but I will not use the tools intensively, so emptying the Festool often is not a big issue for me.

I think I would prefer getting another CT-26 or a Midi if one is not enough.

Thanks for your help!

You would be much better off with a cyclone than a small vac. it’s not designed to move the volume of air you need.

Do you mean adding a Dust Deputy?
