I’m looking for a source/name of product for the pad that attaches to a hook and loop 5” ROS, and then hook and loop sanding disk can be attached to it. It would allow me to attach micro mesh sand paper on a softer, more pliable surface. Thanks.

Don, you might be able to find something that will work for you here. Good luck!

Source of Mirka/Abranet pads – A B’s Gloves and Abrasives. Best prices I have found

I just stumbled upon A B Gloves and Abrasives about 2 weeks ago, placed my order, and had my interface pads in about 4 days (free shipping). I also recommend them.

Before doing my google search and finding A B, I went to my woodcraft store and the only way I could get the interface disk was to purchase a whole sanding disc variety pack…... That was a bummer…...

Just last week I ordered a new pad for my 5” ROS….it’s a Porter Cable, and if you contact or call Tool Parts, they have them in stock….also ordered the soft rubbe pad for my PC finish sander….They have 58,000 parts (according to them) for all major tools….Be ready to pay…..That new pad for the ROS was around $30, and the soft rub pad for the finish sander was about $4.00…..They told me that Porter Cable is gonna quit making those pads…”bout right…...That means we’ll have to buy new sanders…..Call 1-888-358-0332….They can help….Or go to their website…..Tool Parts Direct…

Thanks!! I went with AB’s. To double check the use, they pulled one from stock and made sure for me. Can’t beat that. This is a good source for many items…especially with the free shipping.
