I am asking fellow LJs with mills what blades are you using on your mill for hardwoods.Mahalo for your time.

I use lenox woodmaster C -1 tooth per inch with a 7.5 hp electric motor on my homemade mill

Thanks what is the cost per blade roughly?Are you cutting hardwoods?Thanks for the time

WoodMizer Doublehard bands on my LT15. I cut some very hard woods (dry Bois de Arc [Osage Orange] and Blackjack Oak) but your Hawaiian woods may be harder. Not sure if ReSharp is available where you live but excellent service here.
My blades cost about $23 each in lots of 10. ReSharp is $7 per blade in lots of ten.

Aloha Thanks guys.Don i had cooks on my last mill and they were amazing some reason they arent working good on new mill.gfadvm Havent tried woodmizer yet i have a sharpener and setter usually i get 6 runs out of a blade or more.I think i need to try the bimetal blades some of the woods here are gnarly.

WoodMizer also sells some 4 and 7 degree blades for tougher applications but I have used only the 10 degree blades.
