I saw Draven’s post about being new to woodworking, and needing some help and advise. We have a website that has over 30 years worth of collected data on what, why and how things go wrong, and how to fix them. It cover everything from saw blade codes, chip load formulas, feed speed calculations, tip breakage, saw blade uses, tips on cleaning and sharpening saw blades, and a whole lot more. It may just be review for a lot of you, but hopefully some of you might find it helpful.
p.s. Good luck on your card table Draven!

Thanks Emily, ton of good info, but honestly I think that for beginner woodworkers, it’s easier to watch videos like thewoorwhisperer and finewoodworking- getting started with woodworking, which brings the basics, in small amounts which is easier to digest as opposed to ton of info all at once :)

but your site is def. worth checking out.

I also have a bunch of beginner (and not so beginner) information and videos on my site at www.newwoodworker.com. My site was begun with the idea of helping the new woodworker, hence the name/url.
