Has anyone made an end grain cutting board out of round hardwood dowels? I’m not sure its feasible but it sounded like something to try. The larger dowels could be joined with biscuits or doweled together and spaces fill in in with smaller ones. Any thoughts?

I have not seen one like that. What do you plan to fill in the gaps with?
