Maybe it’s just me, but I laughed when I saw this ad from Woodworker Supply in my inbox. Doesn’t the name of the product make it sound like something you’d find in an adult novelty store? :-)

It does look pretty handy, though!

LOL… Yeah, I think maybe I would’ve picked another name… Looks like an interesting product though… good thing I know to look for it in woodworking stores… lol

LOL, Bob!

I was just thinking that we could probably come up with a long list of woodworking terms that could have “other” meanings, but I’m sure we’d run afoul of the limits of good taste if we went in that direction. :-)

Considering my TV fare, good taste is all in the eye of the beholder.
Heck, my wife thinks “ogee” is erotic.

I was so intrigued by this “thing” I had to go to Woodworker’s supply to understand what it was for.

Holding little pieces of wood securely so you don’t hurt yourself or the cutting blade.
Hmmm! You know, that’s what I use the rubber tip of my #2 pencil for, safely holding little pcs of wood so I don’t get hurt.

Remember – safety first! no matter what you guys are doing with your wood. I think I’ll just stop now.

Hey Charlie!
I think perhaps you need to get your mind out of the gutter, if not, could you scoot over so I can swim by?
Great one. Now I feel a topic about to be started!

You should explain to your wife that it’s “ogee”, not “OH, GEE!!”
