I am looking for a small piece of hophornbeam wood, but am willing to buy a larger piece if needed.
The wood needs to finish out to a minimum of about one inch thick. Minimum width of 5-6 inches, and I’d like to get something that is at least a foot long.
Quartersawn would be nice, but not absolutely necessary. Sapwood, heartwood, or any mix therof is fine.
It does have to be clear (small pin knot or two is ok), with no splits, shakes, or checks.
