Topic tags/keywords: stanley 45 combination plane

I’m looking at getting a 45 for my birthday and saw this one for sale.

Does it look like everything is there? I’m hoping to talk him down in price though I don’t have much more than $75 to spend. Am I low balling him?

its not everything. Take a look here, http://www.supertool.com/StanleyBG/stan6.htm for a parts list.

Mos has a bunch of info in this thread as well, http://lumberjocks.com/topics/43282

It’s probably enough for most applications, but it’s not a complete set.

Second box of cutters missing, as is second set of rods, slitter cutter and possibly the beading stop, screwdriver and cam stop / rest.

Looks like he won’t budge on price so I’ll probably pass on this one. But thanks for the links and the help. You can always count on Lumberjocks.
