Good to hear you’re safe. Lots of fires out there due to gas leaks. Seems like the major structural damage is on the light side so there shouldn’t be too many people trapped under debris. I’m at work watching the news with one of my fellow firefighters. We are both on the Missouri FEMA Urban search and rescue task force. Rest assured there are many well trained teams like ours in your area. We are one of only a few in the central US, but there are 7 in California alone due to the increased risk of earthquakes. -- Bill M. "People change, walnut doesn't" by Gene. |

Glad you came through relatively safely! Over here in Petaluma it woke me up but didn’t get to the “oh crap, I have to do something about it” level, and Charlene slept through it. Is a reminder that I should have a pair of Vise Grips (and the other shut-off tools) more accessible than “out in the shop”. -- Dan Lyke, Petaluma California, http://www.flutterby.net/User:DanLyke |

Dammit man, I am glad to hear y’all are OK. I wasn’t aware of an earthquake until I some some blurbs on FaceBook. I haven’t seen any news coverage yet. Good luck in your recovery. -- Handcrafted by Mike Henderson - Channelview, Texas |
