Hi All

I’m based in Chicago, but willing to travel. I have basic router and table-saw skills and looking for a good class focused on preparation of rough lumber, impriving my skills on table saw and router and (if possible), cabinet/furniture making basics. Ideally, it will be a week-long course and within a day’s drive of Chicago. I’m considering JDLohr in PA, but before I book, I thought I’d ask if anyone else has recommendations.

Regards

Mark

Marc Adams School in Franklin, Indiana offers dozens of week-long courses on all sorts of topics and is a mere three hour drive from Chicago. I’ll should actually be there myself next week unless my work schedule prevents me from making the trip.

Thanks. I looked it up and looks pretty good. I still feel the JDLohr Practical woodworking offers the best for me. Will sleep on it and decide in a.m.
