Topic tags/keywords: question

I will be moving soon to the Williamsburg, Virginia area in the next month. Unfortunately I will be moving to an apartment or townhouse, renting for a while, and then will eventually consider buying a home and building a workshop. So, until then, my shop will remain in Columbia, SC.

So as a test to any lumberjocks in the Williamsburg area, give me some name drops of woodworking type places in the area: lumber sources, woodworking stores, maybe even one of those community wood shops? I figure if I can’t actually woodwork in the near future, at least I can become familiar with the area and prepare my self for the wood craze that I’ll have when I do finally get shop set up.

Thanks for the help

I don’t know Williamsburg, I am in Suffolk VA. There is a Wood Craft store in Norfolk. I know several places around the Suffolk Area to buy lumber. I feel for you not having your shop. If you need to make something, You can PM me and we can get you down to use my shop.
