Hey- has anyone ever seen a bandsaw like this? It looks old and solid. 7’ tall, heavy cast iron. Has no markings but a Craftsman motor that looks aftermarket. Any hints would be appreciated.

Could be a Crescent Heavy 20. The name would be cast on the other side, top door.

yes, in pictures. Look on http://owwm.com and use the
ctrl+f feature in your browser to find the 20”, 24”, 26”, 27”
and 30” saws in the band saw photo index. It looks like
around 27” to me.

That style of frame casting was use in a lot of larger saws
prior to the 1930s.

Your pic has crescent looking feet and the auxiliary small table. Here’s a few different years. The casting like yours, I’m not finding. I sold one similar 2 years ago, but the motor was mounted differently than any pic here.
