Do you buy your cell batteries online or from stores?

I buy single packages for my watches from stores like Walmart,HD.they last longer.the worst quality I got was those assorted packages from dollar stores, they sometimes last long enough but very unreliable,I also notice ebay sells them at fair prices but never tried to see for myself if they really are Energizer batteries or rejects.

I buy those things by the “Space pack”. A “Space pack” is a card with 20 batteries in plastic blisters designed to fit in one of the drawers of those multi-drawer storage cases. I have a jewelry store so I run through several hundred batteries a month.

Contrary to popular thinking those things are NOT one price for all sizes. And big ones are not more expensive than small ones. In fact, one of the smallest size is also one of the most expensive. The price per battery seems to be tied to popularity. The most common size I sell is the #377, also called the SR626-SW, and it is one of the least expensive. They cost me $.018 each when I buy 100 pcs. The most expensive ones are the lithium cells used in things like watches with animated displays or remote entry key fobs or laser pointers. Those cost up to $2.00 each.

I buy mine from a jewelry wholesaler so this option is not available to most folks, but I have seen some tempting sources with a Google search. I just can’t use these sources due to the potential damage to my business if they were of inferior quality.

I have a wrist watch I bought 10 years ago and have not changed the battery in it yet, believe it or not.
The price of these lithium batteries have come down the last couple of years,I remember paying close to $10 for a single CR1616,or Cr1632 but now as you mentioned they are like $2 to $3 .
The dollar store near us sells 10 of them in a package for $1,but I’m sure they are factory reject of something.
