I was looking around on this site for a good bench to build for my RAS and chop saw, hopefully one that shares the same fence and has plenty of storage! Anyone know of some great ones before I start and I had done something else?

Well, I just found a large workbench, which is 10” longs and standard cabinet height and depth. It has two drawers on it and a cabinet door, the rest is open with various shelves. It’s also wired for two additional outlets for tools. It appears to be laminated particle board, plywood in areas and has a laminate top. The thing was a beast to move.

And did I mention it was FREE! my favorite price! I was going to build one, but this should be a great starting point and save a lot of duckets in plywood!

I just need to get a good plan on building a common top and fence for the RAS and chop saw.

Nice score Keith, Im sure you can find lots of plans for a top. I dont have a RAS but I would think t track along the base and fence would be nice for hold downs?

Thanks! That’s what I envisioned too. I just finished another project and will tackle this next, as kid free time allows!
