Topic tags/keywords: king kc-10gc tablesaw

I’m fairly new to woodworking and currently have a Mastercraft table saw. When I discovered I can’t adjust the table relative to the blade to get parallel mitre slots I sort of gave up on it.

Looking for a new saw, I came across a used King KC-10GC for 200CAD but the hardware to mount the table side extensions is missing. Does anyone have any experience trying to get replacement parts from King Canada? Or want to sway me away from buying this particular model for one reason or another?

It seems like a decent step up for the cost if I can get the parts I need.

Thanks!

Don’t know about how to get hardware for it, but a lil drilling and tapping never stopped me.

Usually (far’s I know) the table side extensions just bolt onto the main table. The only parts you should need would be the bolts – sure looks like it in the manual:

I’d be surprised if the hardware from many of the old Mao Shan made Taiwanese saws didn’t fit…..Bridgewood, Woodtek, old Jet, old Grizzly, etc.
