I have plans that call for a 1/16” Band saw blade. I can’t find one listed anywhere. Any Ideas?
Thanks,
Dick

Oh those break so easily. I am not surprised nobody wants
to sell them as doing so is a recipe for irate customers.

Isn’t that called a scroll saw blade?

You need “cool blocks” to use them.

You can probably get a 100’ coil and solder them up
yourself. That’s what I do, though I don’t use stock
that narrow.

The breakage will drive you insane if you don’t have
a willingness to learn to repair blades.

1/16” on a saw that takes a 92.5” blade sounds like it would break on startup just trying to drive the upper wheel to speed. I have a tough time with 1/8” blades on my little 9” saw, half that width would be four times the aggravation. What is the minimum radius you have to cut to need such a thin blade?

Have your say...
