Over the last few years I have come to adopt Dr Pim Van Lommel from Holland Europe and many other scientists and lay people too on this subject. I accepted this a while back and have studied it a lot since and it has only reinforced my beliefs thinking I hope you enjoy it at least .
Kindest regards Alistair

Alistair, I do believe in the ability to reach outside the body, no matter it being a near death experience or not. I believe the conscious soul is the driving source of the universe, and the belief that a “God” will take you into it’s fold upon death is an untruth, for we are all individual Gods unto ourselves. When that final moment comes, our brain unleashes the whole of our being into the realm of complete consciousness. Only then will we be able to see the truth as it is told.

From what I understand hearing from people who have died for a short while that the other side is where we all go and come from since the beginning of time infinity if you will. We are not human creatures or beings looking on earth for spiritual experiences, we are actually spiritual beings here looking for human experience. When we return home after death we meet up with our spiritual groups and all of these spiritual groups combined together make up a spiritual entity we call god so we are all a part of god here on earth looking for human experiences of all kinds. When we return home the collective groups know everything ( I mean everything) what they lack is that they don’t have earthly experience though that is lacked in heaven therefore we come here for that both bad and good all actions will be subject to close scrutiny in a life review when we return home and those murderers etc are also reviewed but there is no punishment of any kind and therefore no hell.We come onto earth to gain these experieces which we review and share with our own groups when we return home so in fact murderers decided to come and experience what this is like before the come to earth so therefore no punishment rquired. In our home we can see 360 degrees and according to those returned from registered death we dont walk we float around according to those who have been very briefly in our terms . In heaven there there is no such thing as measurable time so a few minutes here on an operating table could be ten or twenty years to us in heaven. It is said to be undesfcribably beautiful and it is always left up to you to make the decision to come here for these experiences or not you are not forced to.And we have come to earth many many times and lived many different lives here gaining very different experiences during our many lives here on earth .look it all up or read about it as I do many doctors and surgeons are now questioning whether our consciousness is in the brain or is with us in a different dimension and our brain actually facilitates consciousness (another term for our spirit )like a radio facilitates us to receive music I.E the music is not in the radio but the radio facilitatres what is being transmitted.Thousand of people have all over the world experienced a near death expieience where they have been taken to another place and if they decide or ar told to return as their job here on earth is not yet finsihed they do return sometimes not very happily as it is so beautiful there.
It cannot be overl;ooked by science and is currently not being overlooked by scientists when people who have no pulse, no heart beat, noi beathing also the eyes do not react to a light stimulous at all they flat line on brain wave monitorring etc etc these people are definitely scientifically registered as clinically dead . They however amazingly can despite this tell when they come back to life all that has happened and been said during this time in fact they don’t just present meomories during this time when registered as clincally dead, but have very enhanced memories.
Onw woman for example, in her state of clinically registered death went on and escribed what was during that time said in the operating theatre and also the next two rooms further down the corridor very precisely indeed and witnessed a doctor coming in and knocking something over she described him in geat detail including what he said and what he wore etc adding to her own surgeon with a smill and you better watch your language. All this and much more to those interested is available as said through books or on youtube see for your self under near death experiences, and out of body experiences and much more very much more .Alistair

Wow ! Alistair, you hit smack in the button. I think (?) I was trying to say the same thing, without being in that place where all conscious beings are teleported to. I had a sister, who has since gone on to that realm of lightness, who flatlined twice in her life here on this firmament. She told me both times what it was like, and what it will be when a person gets there, because the next time she wasn’t coming back. I know she is at peace now wherever she is, and the universe that she is in is hers to do with as she pleases.

Your sister is home with her friends and andf also her departed loved ones. As I have had it explained to me through books and internet, there are no earthly words to describe our home as it is beyond beauty and description in other words beyond our abilities that we have on earth to describe it in earthly terms it is if you will trying to explain the colour red to a blind man who has never had the ability of sight in his lifetime.
When people die (as we understand it here on earth) we shoulkd not be afraid or saddened too much ,as we don’t actually belong here on earth we visit earth for a purpose sometimes many many times. It is just like going to school here on earth is for us to gain earthly and human experiences. So it is pointless to stay here longer that our task here requires . And of course since we have also aquired loved ones here on earth ,both we and they feel sad to be parted when we depart this life just as when you finish with your schooling you get saddened to part from those you have associated and learned to love along the way.
Just remember though they and I mean also your sister are not dead just the body dies not what the scientists call our conscious being or we mostly prefer to think of as our inner being or spirit or ghost.
There is much more to us, a lot more than just the biological body the body as we know is not designed to last for ever,it as we also know wears out but the conscious beings that we are,or spirits, never dies,it never has and never will we live like eternal beings no beginning and no end. See Dr Pim van lommel and other scientists doctors and what they now believe after years of research. They have also come to realize that there is compelling evidence to show that the brain and our conciousness are not one and the same and although they work together I.E the brain acts to facilitate conscious awareness it is just that a fascilitory function like the tv or radio we know that the orchestra playing is not inside the radio no room for an orchestra in a radio or tv but the radio acts in a fascilitatory capacity just like the brain as said fascilitates our conscious awarenes etc.Read more please or see the youtube debates on this. I might suggest the “near death experience” is very similar to waking up after having a dream. Some of the dreams are vivid and you can remember them. Some dreams are a fleeting moment where we try to recall the dream, but it fades away. The dreams we remember, are the culmination of past experiences that have been stored away in our brain from the moment of life to the moment of death. Various influences trigger our brain to recall certain occurrences. People who have a vivid dream, may look for meaning in the dream and cause them to adjust their life accordingly. The same has been reported by the good doctor in the instance of people changing their life after a “NDE”. I don’t doubt the findings, nor do I fully accept them either. I have never had a NDE, so I guess I will have to wait for that critical time. It is certainly a thought provoking topic, but one that I prefer NOT to dwell upon. I prefer to focus my thoughts on life, not death. What will happen, will happen and there is nothing anyone can do about it, so it is best not to dwell upon things we have no control over.

We are many times directed towards deathly thoughts due to such matters as loss of a close relative or friend or just a personal life experience. It has been my observation that when a person is winding down due to a debilitating illness, thoughts of “the end is coming”, leads people to focus on religion and “making up for past indiscretions”. I will personally admit that I have never been big on religion, but now that I’m approaching 80, I have been giving more thought toward the afterlife. It is not something I like to dwell upon; it can become depressive if you think about it for long. I try to keep my mind active and focused on the living. Every time I go downtown, and pass the graveyard, my mind starts to entertain unpleasant thoughts. But, I tell myself; I’m not ready to give up and think about other things.

One thing that has been good for my mental state is, music. I listen to music every waking hour of the day; classical of course and any music that gives me an emotional high, like oldies of the 50’s and 60’s. It may just be a distraction, but it’s better than having depressive thoughts.

I consider myself an agnostic. I was brought up in the RC church all the way through grade school to high school by the order of the Irish christian Brothers. I can thank them for a very good education that has served me well all my life. I am one of those persons who cannot blindly accept everything that I am told. That is why I fell away from the church. Faith is something one accepts without question. I am not that person. If we were given free will, then I exercise free will to make my own decisions, whether right or wrong. I may be judged wrong, but who is God like to make that judgement, other than God himself. I will just have to wait until the day comes when I leave this world. but in the meantime, I intend to take advantage of every second, minute, hour, day, month and year ahead. I would like to hear what you have to say in regard to this discussion. You may E-mail me instead if you like. Mr Ron
