Pinterest is a visual discovery tool, a free website you can use to get ideas about all kinds of woodworking things. And not just that, but anything else you're interested in - home decorating, furniture, crafts, model airplanes - you name it.
How do you use it? You make a free account, and you make "boards" to post to. A board is the name for a group of pins - essentially bookmarks of cool thing you, or others have found on the net. I have boards for Mission style, home decor, pallet furniture, etc. When I find something around the net, I "pin it" to my board, which others can see and pin to their boards as well.
Sounds harder than it is.
Here a little tutorial on how to use it.
I use it to collect ideas for woodworking and other stuff.
They have a very good board on stuff for the shop, find it here
