Topic tags/keywords: question

I am very interested in d\moving to a full dust collector unit from my shop vac and have some questions.

I see almost eeryone is happy with the hf unit and it looks like a good unit when outfitted with a thein seperator or a cyclone type unit.

i see hf has a smaller unit with a small bag that collects everything and am wondering what the advantage to the 2 stage hf unit is vs there motor only uit with a thein seperator ahead of the unit?

I have the HF with a Thein separator and am happy with it. I have
it venting outside and see no visible dust at the vent port.

Note that you do need to pay attention to using a flexible caulk to
seal the grooves where the pieces meet. I don’t know that there
would be an advantage to running something else inline with it.

Have your say...
