I was at the Atlanta Woodcraft this past Sat and saw a display of woodriver planes. Among them was a low angle Jack. This is the first time I’ve seen this one. They also had ca couple different blade options. Anybody have any thoughts or experience? I personally have several woodriver planes and have been very pleased. The plane felt nice but my personal thoughts on this one are that they priced themselves Out of their target market at $200. Interesting nonetheless though. Any other thoughts?

Yeah the Veritas one is only $240 and they are a much better company to support. The Woodriver stuff is made in China and they cast copies of Lie Nielsen planes to make theirs.

Have your say...
