I don’t know anything about this jointer, except that it appears to be in pretty good condition. It is obviously cleaned up as I suspect there are some very shallow rust pitting near the blade opening.

I paid $75 dollars for this and 2 13CF scuba tanks that are only 2 years old. The tanks are in immaculate condition and worth some cash but did Record make a decent plane that is usable?

The Record plane is absolutely usable. I have no idea on the value of the tanks, but the Record #7 is probably worth the $75 on its own.

You got free scuba tanks with a nice jointer plane. Some eras were better than others for Record planes, but I’ve yet to see a poor example of a #7. Got a pic?
