Need a good quality bandsaw primarily for cutting logs Into bowl blanks and boards. Resaw height and motor power are imporant. I am in Michigan. Will travel a reasonable distance to pick up.
Thanks

Craigslist my man. That is where I got my 1.5 hp, 220V, 12” resaw, 20” Powermatic 81. Cost me $1000. You may have to do some digging to find a big ole saw like that, but it will come.

Craigslist, ebay, machinery auction sites. OWWM.org has a
sub-forum for buy/sell.

Thanks to all LJers who responded. Af ter investing a few months searching Craig’s List and other sites and not cinding a bandsaw that meets my needs I am going to take the advice of the majority who responded to my posting in the tools/equipment forum after I narrowed my choice to 3 bandsaws. I will pull the trigger and buy a new Grizzly G0555 by the 18th and use the veterans 5 percent coupon unless something comes up that is too good to pass up. The Grizz comes with most of the options I need and priced not that much more than a used saa with tbe same features plus it has a 5 year warrnty.

Thanks again for your suggestions.
