i have 2 box fan air filters in my shop, with one of them on a 1 hour countdown timer. i found a better timer that will countdown up to 4 hours. $6 on clearance @ HD. old on top, new on the bottom.

-- there's a solution to every problem.......you just have to be willing to find it.

Hmmm, hadn’t thought of that. Putting the fans (filters) on a timer sounds like a good thing. So when you leave the shop for the day, the air still gets filtered some more. I like it!

That’s not a bad idea, I have a JET ceiling mounted unit that has a 2, 4 and 8 hour timer built in.
