I’ve tried to find a bare waiter style corkscrew. I would then put on my own scales. There are
lots of places to get T-style kits but none have a the waiter style. (These are similar to pocket knives with a blade for cutting the foil and a leveraged mechanism for removing the cork. They are actually much more common and easier to use than the T-style.)

I’ve thought of buying a complete one and dismantling it but I’d rather not. I’ve looked at rocker, woodcraft, and knife kit sellers with no luck. I’ve exhausted the possible variations I can think of for google searches. People who make these things must get their hardware from someone.

anyone know where to get the kit or bare hardware?
