I’m a part of the LJ’s 2014 Mallet swap and Tuesday is open the gift box day. If you haven’t been following you should go take a look. Mallet Swap 2014

Hosted by terryR and includes a great group of LumberJocks

Should be a few mallet photos popping up next week!

My wife is allowing me to save money from side jobs (I am electrician) to put toward a new table saw. I love her. Most if the time.

Edit: cricket, I could not see the vid you posted because I was on my ipad. Often videos don’t show up within posts.

As soon as I saw your post, I thought of this song. All time great. ( great minds think alike?)

Confession: she was the first black woman I ever had a crush on. I was perhaps ten or eleven when this song came out.

I just got finished being able to work nine hours straight in my shop and felt like I was able to make substantial.progress on my current project. Six weeks of rehab and two weeks of regular visits to the gym are getting me back on track; but, I have to admit I’m not a big fan of the gym culture. LJs is a great source of continuing inspiration. Thanks to everyone on LJs for their great posts.

I have a very satisfying job working for a local Luthier building guitars. Never thought I could be this happy at work!
