Ok here is where I am in this crazy project. I have apx 30 wine racks of various sizes made in cherry and walnut. I have to have these finished for various events pretty soon, say the middle of July.
I need some advice on a strong durable finish process.
I like using the trans-tint dye sprayed for color. I have had nice results with this product mixed with alcohol.
Then I was thinking of a coat of shellac
And that’s where I am. What should be the top coat.
A water base poly, lacquer I have read so much I have info overload.
Really want these to look good for a lot of years.
Any advise is appreciated. I would prefer to spray as there are a lot to be done.
Oh I am in NC where the current humidity is about 200%
As always thanks for your help.
