For those who have not seen it yet, there is a new option to quote a post in your response.

You will find it at the bottom right hand side of a post.

-- "Show respect even to people who don’t deserve it, not as a reflection of their character, but as a reflection of yours."

For those who have not seen it yet, there is a new option to quote a post in your response.

You will find it at the bottom right hand side of a post.

Love the new feature….
Wanted to test whether a “quoted post” can be edited, to make it shorter or more to the point!!!
Hope it works….

Much better. When it first showed up as just some text in quotes I wasn’t too impressed or thrilled about it, but this looks much better. It’s way easier to differentiate from the comment below.

You can directly quote a question within a post, so as to answer a specific question. That or to add insight to a previously posted comment.

So they don’t nest, but that’s probably a good thing. Also good to know that I can edit the quoted text as well. Don’t always need all of what was quoted :-)
