im making a table with the same type of wood how do i get that color ? stain?

I just did a good color match job on a refinished oak headboard. I mixed a few drops of transtint dye with alcohol, then tested on some scrap, and repeated this until the color was close. I then wiped two coats of this onto the sanded-bare top and it came out the perfect shade. I sealed this in with shellac, then gave it a coat of waterlox. I’ll probably do one more waterlox coat, then wax it with johnson’s paste wax or renaissance wax.
