Hi Bob,
I really don’t know. I took it to be the real thing. I have see a few heart shaped ones in our local display and I would think they are capable of the rings, etc…............Jim

I have seen this before and read a lot of posts on other forums claiming it was done on a computer and is not real.
Since I am not really that much of a computer expert I really don’t know

It was spectacular, but I have to agree that is looked like a computer simulation. Nonetheless, the Chinese are very skilled with fireworks and they like them a lot too. I spent a Chinese New Year in Hong Kong one year and after the celebrations the streets downtown were filled with fireworks paper about 4” deep.

i dont know why jim removed it, some of us voiced that we wondered if it was a enhanced showing of fireworks, and jim removed it, it was a beautiful showing, it was so beautiful that i questioned its reality..but..sorry mafe.

Even if it was fake it was enjoyable to watch. My son works for Bad Robot in California and does all sorts of computer special effects that look very real…and it is a booming business…
