Well, it’s not quite a tool, but it is one of the things I enjoy most and it is needed in every shop, I think. I recently added a used office-style chair that swivels and with arm rest to my shop. When I’m sketching a project, when I’m in deep thought about how to address a problem, when I’m eating lunch, when I drinking a beer or two, or when I am doing anything in which I can sit down, I sit in this chair. I got a used one for a few dollars, and it’s one of the most used and appreciated “tools” in my shop. I suggest ditching that stool and getting a comfortable chair. —- Ned

If one gets lucky, sometimes a really good chair like a Steelcase Criterion can be found for a few dollars at second hand stores.

I have 3 hard side chairs, a shed guitar, a shed mandolin and a shed fiddle. Now I want a sofa, a beer fridge and a tv. I’ll never have to leave. Har!
