Hello all,

I wanted to have some input from the much more knowledgeable. I am working on a walk-in closet. I am wanting to build a drawer and shelf unit. A unit about 24”wide and 7 feet tall. The bottom half will be drawers and the top half will be shelves. There will be a horizontal divider between the shelf area and the drawers. However I was wondering if drawer portion needs more horizontal dividers or web frame in between the drawers like a stand alone unit would.

Thank you
Lenny

It depends upon preference really. We have tool carts in the shop that have inset drawers with no dividers between them. It’s the most efficient way to use space.
