It’s going to be a slight delay on getting to our cabin.

Barb woke up with a badly swollen leg. Her doctor examined her, & diagnosed it as a blood clot, so she had to immediately go to the hospital. She’s going through a series of tests today. She will have to stay in the hospital at least 3 days.

I’ll give you a report on the results as I get them.

The most important thing is Barbara’s, and your, health. The cabin can wait a bit.

Lois (my wife) and I (Randy – alias PanamaJack) in Columbus Indiana are both saying a prayer for you both there in Minnesota, Dick.

Tell Barbara that we all here on LumberJocks are in unison saying a big prayer for you there.

Take care!

Barb, & I both thank all of you for your support.
She’s starting to feel much better. They’re giving her some clot busting drugs, & starting her on Cumodin, an anti-coagulant.
She was real excited yesterday, because she watched, & listened her own heart on TV when gave her an Echo gram of her heart. That made her day. The doctor said her bone scan tested good.

I’m going up to visit her right now. You Lumberjocks are great!!

I thank God for all of you.
The swelling is gone, & also the pain. She’ll have to remain in the hospital a couple more days until her medication is regulated. The doctor is still waiting for some test results to come back. He’s been very thorough in his approach. We have a lot of faith in him. He’s been our doctor for about 30 years now.

Dick,

While I don’t know you or Barb, you’ll both be in my prayers. Having had to have an ambulance take my own wife to the hospital only a week ago, I can really feel for you. She passed out, fell off our deck, hit her head, and when I got to her, she was having a seizure, and was unconcious. Scared me to death. She seems to be okay now, and the consensus is she passed out from a combination of not having eaten all day and the heat. She had a concusion from hitting her head. Testing is still ongoing. As I said I can really feel your pain.

God Bless,

Lee

As a new member of this forum, I must say I’m blown way by the family you have all formed. It really is a pleasure to find such a great group of people.

Thanks Bob, & Lee I’m sorry to hear of your wifes accident, I wish her a rapid recovery.
