I am building a multipurpose cabinet for my shop. It’s primary use will be for my miter saw. The saw is mounted on a removable base on top of the cabinet. I want to be able to remove the miter saw and store it in the cabinet below. I am installing a tray type drawer with full extension slides so I don’t have to reach in and lift it out. The saw and base are close to 50 lbs.
What should I use for the drawer bottoms and what type on joint to attach to the low sides to which will be mounted the drawer slides.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Thanks for the tip. I wasn’t sure whether to use a dado or rabbet
