Topic tags/keywords: saws planes tools for sale clamps hand tools

Helping a friend move a few tools.
All of these have been recent users, most of them are still sharp and ready to go.

I will try and get some more details on the saws tomorrow I do know that they are all disstons and the two I handled were sharp.

He doesn’t have any set prices in mind, so make a reasonable offer and I’m sure we can close a deal.

All the handles looked to be in good physical condition no visible cracks or damage.

The Stanley 32 transitional is in very good condition and includes a left handed fence.

The two clamps on the left have wooden screws.

Jordan what was he asking for the d-4? What does the plate it measure from the the bottom of the spine to the tooth line?

I will check and see later today.. I’m not certain that its a D4 but at a glance on the disstonian site it appears to be 1918-1929

I am new to the site so be patient…Picked up a Stanley 100 miter box sans saw a few weeks ago. Cleaned up real nice. i understand it requires a 4” miter saw…24-26”. Would love to find a vintage saw that fits this description. No clue as to price range or availability. Is this a good place to look? Thank you!

Scrappy – paste your entry in the Saws Collecting Using and Buying forum here on LJs that DonW started – lots of saw talent there, to include collectors and restorers, that will help.

jordanp – any chance the planes are still available? I’m in DFW and am trying to build up a respectable hand tool collection :). Not enough posts yet to send a PM, but I think I can receive them. Thanks!
